The facility
The Grande Baia Resort is located in the middle of a beautiful 80-hectare park, close to the sandy beach. The main building houses the reception, hotel rooms, hotel lounge with bar and free Wi-Fi in the public areas. There are 118 single-storey houses with apartments in the spacious gardens. 2 restaurants and terrace bistro directly by the swimming pool with wonderful views.
Location: 7 km north of San Teodoro, close to the sandy beach.
Services: Possibility of half board (booking and payment on site).
Swimming: Swimming pool (swimming cap obligatory), separate children's paddling pool (not in the swimming pool), open from the beginning of May to the end of September. 800 m to the gently sloping sandy/pebble beach, beach service (May to September). Free sun loungers and parasols by the swimming pool and on the beach (as long as available).
Family-friendly: children's playground, mini club (4 to 12 years, during high season), playroom. Daily entertainment.
Leisure/sports: aerobics, aquagym, beach volleyball, fitness room, boules, multi-purpose sports field. For a fee: wellness with Finnish sauna, salt bath and bio sauna, massage, tennis, water sports and excursions in the surrounding area.

Not suitable for young children - appartements are old
There is no shade on the children playground (which in Sardinia is really an issue). The common inner rooms are depressing (nursery in particular, the library had no books). Our apparement was old (with some mold in the bathroom). The music at the pool is too loud (we had two leave two times because the only way to talk to the children and being heard was screaming). The restaurants open too late if your baby and toddler goes to bed early.

Schöne Ferien
Alles in allem ganz okay. Die Anlage ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Kidsbetreuung könnte sehr einfach optimiert werden, bessere Reinigung wäre wünschenswert gewesen, vorallem der Boden (Sand, Krümmel etc.)
