The facility
The charming holiday chalet above the Reka holiday village of Zinal leaves nothing to be desired - the cosy ambience invites up to 5 people to stay. You have exclusive use of the garden.
The converted Mazot (two-storey) is situated outside the village of Zinal in a quiet location. The post bus stop "Village de vacances" is located below the Reka holiday village (ski bus in winter).
Services: Baby equipment rental service (free of charge). In the house "Roc de la Vache" a daily breakfast buffet is offered (for a fee). Also for a fee: bread service, sale of Nespresso coffee capsules. You have the option of ordering attractive additional services in advance (e.g. bed linen, towelling set).
Swimming in the Reka holiday village Zinal: Indoor pool (6x12m) with bubble bench and massage jets. A spacious children's pool with slide invites you to play and the relaxation area with alpine panorama invites you to linger.
Family-friendly: Rekalino family programme of the Reka holiday village can also be used.

High trail Lac de Moiry
The hike through the spectacular alpine landscape characterised by glaciers promises beautiful views of the dam with its lake, the wild Val de Moiry at the end of the Val d'Anniviers and the glistening Moiry glacier.
Zinal Glacier
In winter, after a 2.5 hour snowshoe walk led by a guide, you can go right inside the Zinal glacier, into caves (which can be up to 200 metres long) hollowed out by streams that flow beneath it.
Planetary path
The Planetary Trail, which depicts the solar system on a reduced scale between Tignousa and the Hotel Weisshorn, is THE educational and entertaining hike, ideal for families! It is a playful tour with a scientific aspect and an invitation for the whole family to discover the cosmos.

Avec mon mari Bernard nous avons profitez du chalet le "Diablotin " à 100/100 pour son confort, le calme environnant, sa proximité des transports La Poste car, on trouve tout chez Bonnard , les transports gratuits du val d'annivier et, la cerise sur le gâteau nous avons eu la visite d'une famille de chevreuils presque chaque jour!!!! + les oiseaux et un adorable écureuil brun avec une queue en panache nous régalait de son agilité ! Merci pour tout , notre séjour très reussi Esther B.

Wir haben das Hallenbad jeweils erst am Ende des Tages genutzt und dort liess dann die Sauberkeit teilweise sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Bei der Beschreibung des Ferienhaus Diablotin war weder erwähnt, dass es keinen Geschirrspüler hat noch dass es auch kein WLAN und Fernseher gibt. Für uns alles kein Problem doch das könnte zu Enttäuschungen führen...

Centre Reka top pour les familles avec enfants d'âges différents. Village de Zinal typique avec tous les commerces nécessaires. Jolie piste de bob pour les petits et domaine skiable super pour les plus grands . En plus il est facile d' aller skier sur St Luc si on veut plus de soleil en janvier .

About the location
Your holiday accommodation in Zinal
At the end of the Val d’Anniviers, a southern lateral valley of the Rhone valley in the French-speaking part of the Valais, you will find the holiday resort of Zinal. The end of this valley creates a stunning mountain backdrop - the famous Royal Crown comprising no less than six Alpine four-thousanders, including the Weisshorn, the fourth highest summit in Europe.
In summer, there is a network of 300 kms of wonderful walks with breath-taking views. Zinal is particularly popular with mountain climbers for its majestic mountain world. Bike enthusiasts also love the area for its 150 kms of well-marked trails.
Wonderful winter sports days are also pre-programmed from the snow-sure Valais village. You will find an optimally prepared ski area as well as cross-country runs. Zinal is a well-known address for free riders.
About the region
The Valais Alps are home to the highest mountains in Switzerland. The world-famous Matterhorn is just one of them. You can ski in Zermatt 365 days of the year, and in many places children can use the slopes for free. The wild and romantic Goms is a paradise for hikers, snowshoers and cross-country skiers. Highlights include the three largest glaciers in Switzerland: the Aletsch, Gorner and Fiescher glaciers. Families are always welcome in hospitable Valais.
Directions
By train: Via BLS-Visp-Sierre-Postauto or via Lausanne-Sion-Sierre- Postauto Zinal. The car service runs to the REKA holiday village. Important: If you travel by post bus, please contact Mrs. Carrell (hostess) by telephone before the holiday.
By car: Via motorway N6 Spiez. Car transport in Kandersteg-Goppenstein- Gampel-Sierre-Zinal (28 km) or via N12 Chexbres N9 Sion- Sierre-Zinal. The REKA holiday village is at the back of the village, above the Rest. Alpina.
