Weekly market in Luino
The city of Luino is located on the eastern shore of Lake Maggiore, where a state of emergency reigns once a week. Every Wednesday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., hundreds of bargain hunters gather on site to make many a deal and also to haggle from time to time. Public transport such as buses and trains run to the market, as do boats.

Schöne Lage mit südlichem Feeling, Hundefreundlich. Im Vergleich zu anderen Reka-Angeboten aber enttäuschend. Das Hotel Brenscino als Zentralhaus und der Pool ist nur mit 20 min Fussmarsch oder Fahrzeugen erreichbar. Kein Wifi in den Wohnungen ist nicht zeitgemäss. Die Wohnungen sind renovationsbedürftig, und waren nicht sauber, bzw der Preis zu hoch für den Standard der geboten wird.

Perfekt für Ruhe und Erholung im Haus Cima. Kein Durchgangsweg bei der eigenen Terrasse und daher sehr viel Privatsphäre. Das Haus liegt super und reicht für 3 Personen. Die Aussicht auf den See ist wunderschön. Den Pool und die Infrastruktur vom Hotel darf man benutzen, der Weg dorthin ist aber umständlich, steil ab und auf und weit. Es ist sehr schade dass die Anlage keinen eigenen Pool hat. Wlan gibts nur im Aufenthaltsraum. Wer also Erholung sucht und ohne Pool vor der Türe auskommt ist richtig in Brissago.

Es ist eine wunderschöne Ferienumgebung mit viel südlichem Flair bezüglich Blumen Pflanzen Bäume. Wunderschöne Appartement. Wir konnten uns gut erholen und kommen gerne jederzeit wieder zum Feriendorf der Reka.

Un séjour parfait !
J'ai passé une semaine à Brissago avec mon fils de 3 ans le séjour à été super, cependant à préciser qu'il y a énormément de marches pour accéder à l'appartement donc attention ne pas avoir de trop grosses ou trop lourdes valises. Le studio est en dessou d'un appartement de famille donc il faut s'attendre à avoir pas mal de bruit(pas, grincement et même voix des gens) mais ce souci à été vu avec la réception de l'hôtel et réglé super vite. Petite mise en garde si vous ne voulez pas avoir la visite d'une souris en pleine nuit ;) veillez a bien fermer les fenêtres. Sinon tout était parfait ! Propreté, matériel à disposition, réactivité du personnel ! 10/10 Merci énormément !

Brissago is located between Locarno, the warmest city in Switzerland, and the frontier with Italy. The small Ticinese town is also the lowest point in Switzerland, at only 197 meters above sea-level.
Brissago’s reputation reaches far beyond the frontier for its marvellous view out over the Isole di Brissago. Mansions with fabulous gardens look out over the view of the two small Brissago islands, especially the botanical gardens created by the Russian Baroness Antoinette Saint-Léger as a paradise on earth between 1885 to 1928. The green island paradise is easily accessible by boat.
Brissago is also famous for its tobacco factory and its iconic cigars. The enchanting hamlet bewitches visitors with its picturesque lakeside village centre. With its narrow, winding alleys leading up to the wonderful Renaissance church of San Pietro e Paolo, the village is the perfect place for a stroll.

By train: via Gotthard-Bellinzona to Locarno. Take bus 316 from Locarno to the Brissago-Posta stop (journey time 25 min.). Then change to bus 308 (Brissago local bus) to check-in at the Parkhotel Brenscino Brissago. The transfer to the resort is on foot (approx. 20 minutes), by bus of line 308 or by taxi (Taxi Prato, +41 79 331 33 33 / by appointment / minimum 2 days before arrival or departure).
By car: leave the N2 freeway at Bellinzona Sud and drive towards Locarno-Brissago. In Brissago turn right at the post office into Via Costa di Mezzo, continue in Via Sacro Monte until you reach Parkhotel Brenscino Brissago.
Information: for guests of the Reka holiday residence Brissago, the boat transport (Brenscino boat) as well as the transport with the hotel shuttle is not available ( even for a fee).
