Overview
The facility
The estate is nestled in a beautiful valley, surrounded by 60 hectares of cultivated fields, pastures, aromatic Mediterranean scrub and breathtaking panoramas. Especially the view from the town of Alghero to the sea is stunning. The ideal place to switch off and leave everyday life behind. Be it a walk under the Sardinian sun, a barbecue in the evening or a glass of wine on the veranda. The children romp with their quickly found friends on the playground or in the various swimming pools, visit the animals with the farmer or ride on the donkey "Hugo". A unique estate for unique Sardinia holidays for the whole family.
The estate comprises 21 holiday homes and flats of various sizes and types. Restaurant and farm shop with home-made or Sardinian specialities, pizza take-away service, cafeteria, reading room, free parking and free Wi-Fi in the complex and accommodation.
Location: about 15 km from Alghero and 10 minutes drive from the beautiful sandy beaches of the area, quietly situated in the unique maquis of Sardinia. Car compulsory.
Services: Possibility of breakfast and half board (extra charge, bookable and payable directly on site).
Swimming: 3 different swimming pools with free sun umbrellas and sun beds, solar showers and hydromassage jets. Swimming pool at the Country Residence in the heart of the complex and at the end of the farm, Isola Foradada and Punta Cristallo swimming pools close to the Borgo accommodations. The various swimming pools are available to all guests. Nearest sandy beach within 10 minutes drive, discover the dream beaches of Porto Ferro, Spiaggia Porto Palmas or Spiaggia Lampiano di Sassari.
Family-friendly: children's playground, toys for in the water and on land, picnic areas with barbecues, visits to the animals possible, 1 x weekly farm day for the whole family with donkey rides, pig feeding, egg hunt with the chickens etc. (for a fee), guided tours of the farm. About the location
Alghero is the main tourist center of the Riviera del Corallo, as the Sardinians call this western stretch of coast. The unique beauty of the landscape around Alghero makes this resort unforgettable. It offers the ideal mix for vacations by the sea, closeness to nature, relaxation and entertainment. For many travelers to Sardinia, Alghero is the most beautiful town on the island and a visit should not be missed by anyone. However, Alghero is not typically Sardinian - the Spanish influence of more than 400 years made sure of that. Even today, the city is distinctly Spanish. Many inhabitants have Catalan roots, Catalan dishes are offered in the restaurants and the street signs are bilingual (Italian and Spanish). The old town, with its defiant walls, resembles a large fortress. Inside the walls, narrow and winding streets wind through the old town and numerous souvenir stores with the coral jewelry famous for the area, gelaterias and restaurants invite you to linger and enjoy.

Directions
From Porto Torres:
Drive towards Alghero and follow the SP42 road. At the Fertilia crossroads, keep to the right and take road no. SS291 to Fertilia. At the crossroads with the traffic lights in Santa Maria La Palma, keep left towards Fertilia-Alghero, still on the SS291 until you reach the marked "km 28". Shortly after, turn right towards Guardia Grande. 500 m further on, on the right, you will find Podere Monte Sixeri.
From Alghero airport:
After leaving the airport, turn left onto road no. SP44 and shortly after follow the SS291. At the crossroads take the left road towards Fertilia. Continue on the SS291 until you reach the crossroads with the traffic lights in Santa Maria La Palma. From there, turn left towards Fertilia-Alghero, still on the SS291 until you reach the marked "km 28". Shortly after, turn right towards Guardia Grande. 500 m further on, on the right, you will find Podere Monte Sixeri.
