Overview
The facility
The Petalon vacation resort is located on the peninsula of the same name between Vrsar and the Koversada Naturist Park. The resort, which extends in terraces over the hill of the wooded headland, has terraced houses with 176 bungalow rooms and 48 apartments. Buffet restaurant, aperitif bar, "Basilico Pizza Pasta" restaurant on the beach, pool bar, newspaper and souvenir store, small supermarket, cash machine. The center of Vrsar can be reached via a pedestrian path (approx. 10 minutes' walk). Free Wi-Fi.
Location: Directly by the sea, 800 m south of Vrsar on the Petalon peninsula. Car recommended.
Bathing: Small rocky beach with bathing plateaus and a small pebble bay. Swimming pool (not heated, open approx. from mid-May to mid-September, depending on the weather) with separate children's pool, sun loungers and parasols by the pool free of charge, on the beach for a fee.
Family-friendly: mini club, mini disco, evening programs and entertainment for children and teenagers (daily from mid-June to mid-September, reduced offer in low season), playroom, playground.
Leisure/sports: Sports center, 12 tennis courts, multi-purpose sports fields (table football, basketball, volleyball), table tennis, minigolf, bike rental, massage facilities, hairdresser.

Nachdem wir diesmal in ihrer Anlage trotz Buchung am 12.02.2025 nicht durchgehend 3 Wochen bekommen haben mussten wir danach auf eine andere Anlage ausweichen. Das war g a n z ä r g e r l i c h . Nachdem wir schon sicher seit 40 Jahren in Vrsar Urlaub machen und in der Anlage Belvedere begonnen haben und es Maistra noch gar nicht gegeben hat. Außerdem sind wir seit letzter Zeit zweimal jährlich immer drei Wochen in ihrer Anlage. Vielleicht wäre es ratsam für Stammkunden ein Kontingent freizuhalten.

Tutto molto bello! Villaggio molto curato, direttamente sul mare, con tutti i servizi che servono. Personale molto gentile e professionale. Purtroppo il mio soggiorno è stato molto breve e non ho potuto sfruttare appieno l'offerta, ma tornerò con maggiore calma. Alla prossima!

Oddih je bil dober, menjava sobe, saj ni bilo pogleda na morje, uničen posteljni vložek, lep balkon po zamenjavi sobe, predvsem prevelika gneča gostov ob večerji, potrebno razširiti restavracijo in izbor jedi za večerjo lp Miro

The place is memorable, the calm and walks you can do all day. The room was clean and quiet. If I had to say something I would suggest to improve the food quality of the buffet and have more healthy food.

Very nice location, beach, pool and restaurant. The room (254) is good, but a little bit old. The bathroom is old, specially the door and the shower and I think it was cleaned without cleaning liquid. A big plus point because it is pet friendly.

Location & directions
About the location
Vrsar is one of the most beautiful towns in Istria. In front of Vrsar there is a chain of 18 green islands. Vrsar, which was called Ursaria by the Romans and was formerly a fishing and farming village, has a romantic atmosphere and plenty of sights. The important tourist centre is known for its water springs and numerous restaurants.
Directions
By car: Italian highways to Trieste, then follow the signs for "Slovenia/Koper/Capodistria" to the end of the highway. Follow the signs to "Capodistria" and cross the border between Italy/Slovenia "Skofije". Before Koper turn right towards Porec/Pula, continue to the border crossing Slovenia/Croatia "Dragonja/Kastel". Continue in the direction of Buje-Porec (E751). In Porec continue in the direction of Vrsar, after approx. 6 km you will reach the village of Funtana. In Funtana, continue in the direction of Vrsar. After approx. 3 km you have arrived in Vrsar, follow the signs for the Petalon apartments.
