Reka-Card
General information on the Reka-Card
The Reka-Card is an earmarked means of payment for holidays, leisure activities, means of transport and catering and works just like a debit card. It is connected to your Reka account and can be directly used, together with the Reka-Card PIN, as payment at a payment terminal. The Reka-Card can also be registered as currency in many webshops and apps.
- The Reka-Card is accepted at over 6’000 acceptance points as a means of payment.
- You always obtain Reka-Card credit with a discount.
- The Reka-Card can be topped up at any time.
- With its PIN code, the card provides security.
- If the card is lost, it can be replaced.
- In the online customer portal, you can manage your Reka-Card and view your credit balance.
- With the Reka-Card you can pay at selected webshops and apps.
Obtaining the Reka-Card and purchasing Reka-Card credit
Many employers, employer organizations or federations offer Reka-Card credit as a fringe benefit or a bonus. Staff members receive a pay-in slip for a specific amount of Reka-Card credit. Following the first payment, they receive their personal Reka-Card by post, already loaded with their share and the employer’s contribution. If you do not have the possibility of obtaining Reka-Card credit through your employer, you can purchase Reka-Card credit directly either via Coop or from Reka. You can obtain Reka-Card credit with a 3% discount at Coop when you display your Supercard. Or you can open an online account on reka.ch and receive a 2% discount for each top-up.
You have the following possibilities:
- By using the quota you receive via your employer, an employer organization or a federation in the form of a QR invoice.
- By topping up directly online via your customer portal with a 2% discount.
- By displaying your Supercard at selected Coop sales outlets (Coop supermarkets, Jumbo and Coop City) and Coop branch offices with a 3% discount.
Reka-Card via the employer
After your first payment, you automatically receive your personal Reka-Card. Your employer sent you an information memo to this effect with all necessary details such as e.g. the Terms and Conditions. Your human resources department will be happy to help you at any time. Here you will find a detailed explanatory video about the procedure.
When a card has been blocked, it is no longer accepted by the terminal. The following text is displayed: “Card blocked.” Please contact our customer service with our contact form or call +41 31 329 66 67.
The annual account management fee is CHF 15.–. Often the employer offers to pay for the yearly fee. You can find out about all fees in our fees overview.
The account management fee is always due in advance for the coming year and is charged for the first time when the account is opened. If the card fee is offered by the employer, the CHF 15.– fee debit is visible on the opening day in the Reka-Card account and the following day in the balance.
Reka-Card credit, regardless of the form of Reka Money (Reka-Pay, Reka-Lunch, Reka-Rail+), does not have an expiry date. QR invoices, on the contrary, are only valid up until their stipulated expiry date. If an invoice is not paid by this date, the staff member loses their entitlement to the discounted Reka-Card credit offered by their employer for the corresponding year.
Reka-Card at Coop
You benefit from a 3% discount on Reka credit, which you can load onto your Reka Card. However, you can only purchase the Reka Card at Coop if you have a Coop Supercard.
To see an overview of all Coop locations, click here. You can then enter the name of your desired Coop branch in the search bar. Under ‘Details,’ you will find further information about the selected branch. In the “Service” category, look for the entry ‘Load Reka-Card.’ If this entry is available, you can purchase the popular leisure money at this Coop location.
The minimum top-up amount is CHF 10 in Reka Card credit.
The maximum top-up amount per day is CHF 3’000 Reka-Card credit.
The Reka Card credit on the Coop Reka Card has no expiry date. Once paid in, it is valid indefinitely.
When you obtain your Reka-Card, it is not personalized and can immediately be used for payment at Reka acceptance points. As soon as you register your card, you can change the PIN, and your credit balance is protected.
The account management fee is CHF 6 per year. If you register your Reka-Card online, your account management fee will be waived for the first year and refunded to your account within a few hours. Subsequently, one year after the first top-up, the CHF 6 account management fee will be charged to your account annually.
The CHF 6 account management fee is automatically charged to the Reka account after you load it for the first time. Be sure to take this into account when you charge the card. Example: you load CHF 50 on to a Reka-Card, the CHF 6 account management fee is deducted and all you have left is an effective balance of CHF 44.
The account management fee is CHF 6 per year and is charged (deducted from the balance) after the first loading. If you register online, this first account management fee is waived and refunded to your account within a few hours.
The fee is charged for account management. This includes many online services: you can change your PIN, block your account, your credit balance is protected, you can check your balance and your last transactions, transfer credit to another Reka account, pay invoices from selected Reka Partners, and lots more.

Forms of Reka Money
General information concerning the forms of Reka Money
The Reka-Card can be loaded with the various forms of Reka Money. Reka-Pay is for holidays and leisure, Reka-Lunch for staff catering and Reka-Rail+ for climate-friendly mobility.
Your Reka-Card must be updated so that both forms of Reka Money can be used as payment. You will find instructions for activation here:instructions for activating a second form of Reka Money
Further information can be found here.
After activating an additional Reka money form, your Reka-Card must be updated at a payment terminal so that the desired form can be used for payment. Further information can be found here.
If you’re paying at a Reka acceptance point which accepts several forms of Reka Money, you have the possibility to select the required form of Reka Money on the payment terminal screen. If only one form of Reka Money is accepted, the process is automatically completed using the form of Reka Money available. Selection is not possible with contactless payment.
If the acceptance point allows partial payment, you can pay with two forms of Reka Money. There is one transaction per form of Reka Money. You can, for example, pay for an SBB General Season Ticket beginning with Reka-Pay and then continue with a second transaction using Reka-Rail+.
If you have more than one form of Reka Money (e.g. Reka-Pay and Reka-Rail+) and as long as the acceptance point accepts them, you should register them singly, and separate from each other, in the appropriate application. In other words, you register the Reka-Card with the Reka-Pay form of Reka Money, and then once again with Reka-Rail+. Then you can conveniently select the required form of Reka Money during the payment process.
You can only make an account transfer when the accounts to be debited and credited have the same form of Reka Money. The recipient must have an active account with the corresponding form of Reka Money.
Have you registered the Reka-Card as a means of payment, in the app SBB Mobile for example, and do you wish to pay with the new form of Reka Money? You must add the Reka-Card as a new means of payment in the app and, during the process, select the new form of Reka Money (Reka-Rail+, Reka-Pay, etc.). The new form of Reka Money will then be ready for use.

Reka Holidays in spite of coronavirus
Yes, indeed. All our facilities are open and we have taken all appropriate safety measures.
Reka takes the greatest care to ensure that official recommendations are constantly observed. In public spaces such as indoor pools, fitness centres and play areas, current social distancing rules must be safeguarded. Furthermore, hand hygiene is also essential and face masks are compulsory in all interior areas accessible to the public.
All information on rebooking can be found here.
For all bookings normal rental terms and conditions are valid. For our partner facilities the normal Reka rental terms and conditions apply, or those of the partner.
Official directives stipulate that until the end of February groups of more than 5 persons are only authorized if they are all from the same family. “Patchwork” families (parents with their children) composed of several households count as one household in this case as relationships are very close anyway.
You can find all information on re-scheduling here.
One household is composed of parents and their children so strictly-speaking grandparents or childminders do not belong to the family unit and should therefore not occupy the same flat.
Our indoor pools, including wellbeing centres, and the Rekalino family programme are still available. However, the best person to contact for more detailed information would be our on-site host.
The link as well as the QR-Code for the C2o for the Holiday Village is printed on your contract. You’ll get all the necessary information here that you should know about your holidays on site.
Many mountain railways implemented protection concepts so that you can also enjoy the days this year. You can find the protection concepts of the mountain railways on our facility web pages. There we have linked the respective destinations and their protection concepts for you.
No. This is not possible as mountain railway services are not covered by our contract and we cannot offer special conditions concerning this matter.
If you’re looking for alternative snow activities, you’re bound to find what you need. There are lots of tips for activities away from the ski slopes in a teaser on our facility web pages.
No. Quarantine regulations do not entitle you to special conditions.
As entry regulations can be changed anytime, we recommend you consult the Swiss Federal Office for Public Health website.
Yes, because you will be spending several days and not just one in Switzerland, i.e. not for work but for holiday purposes, you have to fill in the form.
