Enjoy Disentis at 1,130 m above sea level, with its famous Benedictine monastery dating back to the early 8th century. Here you can explore the source of the Rhine or the untouched Val Medel. And with any luck, you will also find what has always magically attracted people to the Surselva: the gold of the Alps. Gold fever is still one of the region’s attractions. Even in our Reka Holiday Village you can feel the gold digger atmosphere - really big nuggets wash our little guests in the adventure park with gold digger city.
With us you can enjoy a unique family holiday, with hiking, biking, climbing and winter sports.
We have 52 modern and spacious holiday homes in 6 different buildings, all with balcony or seating area and all with south-facing living and dining rooms.
The Minergie-certified Disentis Reka Holiday Village enjoys an idyllic location in the Surselva valley. Our indoor swimming pool with paddling pool is open to watersports lovers of all ages at any time. In the farmer’s market, you will find culinary delights from the region as well as everything else for your day-to-day needs. And in the “Canota d’Aur”, our golden meeting place, you can get to know other families over a raclette, pizza or capuns evening.

Zuerst muss ich sagen, dass die online-Buchung extrem schwierig war. Ich habe es Reka bereits gemeldet. Ich konnte die Wohnung für uns und für eine andere Familie nicht im selben Haus reservieren. Es war kombiniert nicht möglich - aber wenn ich nur für eine Familie gebucht habe, hätte ich mehrere Wohnung im gleichen Haus reservieren können. Musste dann telefonieren. Das muss sich ändern. Das Milchpulver ist leider nicht gut bei uns Erwachsenen angekommen - wir konnten kein Milckkaffee trinken und haben selbst unsere Milch beim Frühstück mitgebracht. Was sehr toll war, dass der Gastro-Bereich sehr aufgewertet wurde, seit meinem letzten Besuch. Es war aussergewöhnlich schön und gemütlich. Kompliment. Auch die Auswahl in der Tiefkühle fand ich super (Brot und Würste ist eine tolle Idee). Das Team vor Ort war super freundlich und unkompliziert. Man hat gerne nachgefragt - das ist nicht in jedem Rekadorf so. Danke für die Zeit in Disentis.

About the location
Your holiday accommodation in Disentis
Disentis / Mustér nestles in the Alpine landscape of upper Surselva in the Grisons. The famous Benedictine abbey stands in splendour high up above the village on the young river Rhein. Its location on major Alpine passes meant it played a key role for centuries in the economy and culture of the region. Village life was influenced by Romanesque culture.
The village offers visitors several activities at all times of the year. In the Disentis Sedrun holiday region, you can walk all summer long over soft, green alpine meadows, rest in the shade of alder groves and inhale the perfume of mountain herbs and flowers along the wayside. There are many hiking trails ranging from more comfortable family walks to more demanding mountain treks which all lead you through the impressive mountain landscape under a steel-blue sky.
With guaranteed snow in winter, families as well as experienced skiers and free-riders will enjoy 60 km of pistes taking them up to 3,000 meters. There is also a cross-country ski trail at the Disentis alpine ski resort.

Directions
Arrival by train
SBB to Chur, from Chur with Rhaetian Railway to Disentis. Very close to the local bus stop (Christmas to Easter and mid-June to mid-October).
Arrival by car
Zurich-Landquart-Chur-Ilanz-Disentis (or summer only: via the Andermatt Oberalp Pass to Disentis). In Disentis, in the direction of Andermatt/Oberalppass/Sedrun, then turn right into the “Via Acletta” in the direction of the cable cars. Follow the signs for “Reka”.
