In the family-friendly Montfaucon Reka Holiday Village, the large play park is a reminder that the Jura was the birthplace of Swiss watchmaking. Here you can experience time in a new way with our partner TISSOT, whose roots are in the region.
Or you can enjoy some time to yourself and relax in the sauna area with sanarium, steam bath, whirlpool and relaxation room. You can book massages with our relaxation professionals as you wish. Games, sports and fun are guaranteed with us. Creux du Van
The gigantic rock arena with a diameter of more than a kilometre was formed in the course of millions of years by water and ice erosion. Impressive vertical cliffs of more than 160 m height surround a deep valley. This absolutely spectacular site boasts a splendid 360° panorama over the nearby lakes, the Alps, the Jura valleys, and further on to France.

Parc du Doubs
The Parc du Doubs is located in north-western Switzerland, on the border with France. The river marks the northern boundary of the park, from the Neuchâtel town of Les Brenets to the small Jura town of Saint-Ursanne. To the south of the river, with its often steep banks, the park covers an area of almost 300 square kilometres, stretching as far as the Franches-Montagnes and Montagnes neuchâteloises plateaux.

This has proven to be a family-friendly destination with a lot of outdoor activities, although these are mostly possible when the weather is decent. Everything, from the accommodation, to the facilities, the staff and the quality was fantastic. We will certainly be back soon!

Waren nun zum zweiten Mal dort und es begeistert immer wieder! Schöne Lage, tolle Infrastruktur und Angebot. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist auch sehr zu empfehlen mit hochqualitativen Produkten aus der Region. Wir hatten wirklich eine entspannte Zeit trotz schlechtem Wetter mit Baby und Kleinkind.

dommage il manquait la poulie à la tyrolienne. Je trouve qu’il y a très peu de lumière dans la maison ou pas assez forte. On est obligé de mettre en fonction la lumière de la hotte de la cuisine, pour avoir un peu plus de luminosité. Problème aussi avec le Wifi et chauffage pas très chaud. Mais autrement tout au top.

Great place to relax with the family. Mini-golf, indoor pool, and crepes were the highlight. One or two organized/Rekalino family walks in the neighborhood would have made it a bit more fun and maybe gotten my son out a bit more.

Wir hatten ein Doppelhaus, unsere Tochter mit Familie eines und wir Grosseltern eines. Es war ideal ausser die Küche war ein weinig Klein. Wir waren schon mit unseren Töchter bei ihnen und nun als Grosseltern wieder. Es war ein wenig wie Heimkommen.

If you’re searching for the pure Jura experience, then you’ve come to the right place in the village of Montfaucon, at some 1,000 meters above sea-level. Up here you’ll find broad meadows with grazing horses, the peace and quiet of the forests and ponds in a mysterious moorland landscape. From the slightly elevated ridges, the view sweeps south towards the Chasseral and the Alps on the horizon. To the north, you can see the deeply carved river Doubs valley. The rolling range of Jurassic hills forms a vast nature park.
The Reka Holiday Village at Montfaucon is the departure point for a wide range of fresh-air activities. Everything is possible here, from hiking holidays to biking or wellness vacations. From here you can set out to discover the wild beauty of the Swiss Jura. You can discover historic cities and typical villages by train or bus, or even by bike!
The Riviera and its vineyards around the crystal blue Lake Geneva, themed trails and the cultural heritage of the Gruyère region or the typical landscape of the Swiss Jura – Western Switzerland is a region full of emotions and medieval traces.
Directions
Arrival by train
Via Saignelégier or Glovelier to Pré-Petijean station (Montfaucon). From there, the holiday village is about a 20-minute walk. You can arrange to be picked up by the Reka bus. We recommend changing to the post bus in Saignelégier or Glovelier and disembarking at the Montfaucon post office. From there, the holiday village is about a 5-minute walk.
Arrival by car
Via Saignelégier to Montfaucon. The holiday village is located just before the village of Montfaucon on the left. Coming from Glovelier, turn right at the end of the village. Follow the Reka signs in each case.
